Welcome! We hope you can join us sometime as we worship together on Sunday mornings at 10 am. Here’s what you can expect: we begin service with a few songs. We don’t like to get stuck in a box and we believe worship is about the heart and not the form, so depending on who is leading our music for the day, the style ranges from more traditional hymns, to folksy, to contemporary worship. We also regularly use our young people to lead worship, believing that the best way to train up a child in the way he should go is to engage him in real and genuine ministry. We don’t want to make ministry our life, but make our lives a ministry. Following the time of music we move into the teaching. Although we don’t have a large “pastoral staff,” we believe that through His Holy Spirit, God has gifted men to understand and teach His word, so we endeavor to use these gifts when we see them. To that end, the teaching is shared amongst the pastor and elders and others God has gifted to teach. Messages are expository and gospel-centered because we believe that the Gospel has the power to save the sinner and also to sustain the saint. After the preaching of the word, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper through communion, believing it is our duty as well as our privilege to “proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes” (1 Cor. 11:26). Finally, we end our Sunday celebration with another song. Those who need prayer are invited to pray and all are invited to share in the fellowship of the saints.
